An adventure at altitude on two wheels, which, thanks to the use of the lifts, will take you to Madonna di Campiglio, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. Don't miss the fun descent along the Val Meledrio.
From the top station of the Daolasa gondola, take a single track immediately, which runs downhill alongside the forest road leading to Malghet Aut. Then follow the forest road towards Malga di Dimaro and continue towards Passo Campo Carlo Magno.

At the junction with State Road 239, continue straight ahead on a gently sloping dirt road until you reach the junction with the Grostè road, where you turn left. The road continues uphill, passing the starting points of the 'Rododendro' and 'Boch Express' chairlifts, and finally reaches the Boch hut.

Go around the hut and pass behind the intermediate station of the Grostè gondola, taking the single track downhill to Malga Vagliana and then along a dirt road to Malga Vaglianella.

At the hairpin bend above the malga, leave the road and continue downhill to the right. On the Val Meledrio dirt road, continue uphill for 1.5 km towards Folgarida Alta.

Before reaching the paved road, near the Belvedere hotel, take the 'La Preda del Pè' trail. It is a technical trail with roots, mud, rocks, jumps, tight corners, and fast curves. After a nice descent, take a flat trail (lec) on the left, which leads to the hairpin bend of the state road to Campiglio. Take the junction towards Costa Rotian. A short paved section, followed by a dirt path and another short paved stretch, leads easily to the Daolasa parking lot.

A stop at Malga di Dimaro for a photo of the Dolomites is definitely a must. We also recommend stopping at Malga Vagliana to drink the fresh water that flows from the fountain and admire the surrounding panorama.

How to get there

From Bergamo-Brescia: follow the SS42 of Tonale.

Where to park

It is recommended to leave the car at the parking lot of the Daolasa - Val Mastellina cable car, which is subject to payment during certain periods even in the summer season.
We always recommend carrying a repair kit: inner tube, pump, glue, patches, and a set of tools for quick repairs.
