An adventure at altitude on two wheels, which, thanks also to the use of ski lifts, will take you up to Madonna di Campiglio, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. Don't miss the fun descent along the Val Meledrio.

From the arrival of the Daolasa cable car, immediately take a single track that runs downhill alongside the forest road leading to Malghet Aut. Then follow the forest road towards Malga di Dimaro and continue towards Passo Campo Carlo Magno.

At the intersection with state road 239, continue straight on the dirt road with a slight uphill until the intersection with Grostè road, then turn left here.

The road continues uphill, passing the start of the "Rododendro" and "Boch Express" chairlifts, finally reaching the Boch hut.

Bypassing the hut and passing behind the intermediate station of the Grostè cable car, take the downhill single track to Malga Vagliana and then continue on a dirt road to Malga Vaglianella.

At the hairpin above the hut, leave the road and continue downhill to the right.

On the Val Meledrio dirt road, proceed uphill for 1.5 km towards Folgarida Alta.

Before reaching the paved road, near the Belvedere hotel, take the "La Preda del Pè" trail. This is a technical trail with roots, mud, stones, jumps, sharp turns, and fast turns. After a nice descent, take a flat trail on the left (lec) that leads to the hairpin on the state road to Campiglio. Take the junction to Costa Rotian. A short stretch of asphalt, followed by a dirt road and again a stretch of asphalt, leads without difficulty to the Daolasa Parking lot.

Suggestions

Stopping at Malga di Dimaro for a photo of the Dolomites is definitely a must. We also recommend stopping at Malga Vagliana, drinking the very fresh water flowing from the fountain, and admiring the surrounding panorama.

Safety information

From Malghet Aut to Malga di Dimaro, the dirt road has some moderately steep sections; it is advised to moderate your speed downhill and always keep to the right.
Other tips:

- Plan the route according to your abilities and weather forecasts;

- Go slowly, be cautious, enjoy the view and the silence;

- Adapt your riding style to the terrain characteristics and condition;

Public transportation

From Trento, climb into Val di Sole up to the Daolasa station, with the electric railway "Trento - Malé - Mezzana" which allows bike transport in the carriages. For more information: https://www.trentinotrasporti.it/viaggia-con-noi/ferrovia.

How to get there

From Bergamo-Brescia: follow the SS42 del Tonale.

From Bologna-Verona and the Brenner: A22 Brenner highway, exit Trento Nord for those coming from the south, exit San Michele all’Adige for those coming from the north. Continue towards Cles, Val di Non, along the SS43 and, after passing Cles, take the SS42 towards Passo del Tonale, Val di Sole.

Where to park

It is recommended to leave your car at the Daolasa - Val Mastellina cable car parking lot, which is paid for during some periods, even in summer season.

We always recommend bringing a repair kit: inner tube, pump, sealant, patches, and a set of tools for quick repairs.
