A fruity, fresh, very pleasant cocktail. It has all the typical aroma of Groppello di Revò wine, with its typical light spicy notes, enhanced by a divine wild berry purée. A splash of tonic water for some bubbles... et voilà!
Because even red wine can be summery.
100 ml Groppello di Revò wine
40 g wild berries
1 heaped teaspoon of sugar
20 ml tonic water
ice cubes
To decorate:
Mint leaves
Fresh berries
Toothpicks
Stir the berries with the sugar in a small saucepan for about 6 minutes, and then pass the softened fruit through a food mill or blitz and sieve to give a fairly smooth purée. Put into the fridge to cool.
When you are ready to make your cocktail, pour the purée into the bottom of the glass, add the ice and the Groppello and mix well with a teaspoon. Add the tonic water and decorate with a mini skewer of berries and mint leaves.
