Located 2,000 m above sea level, Peio Kinderland is a fun park for the youngest visitors to glorious Val di Peio. The park's main attraction is the stream. This flows out of a pond into channels that pass through small dams, twists, turns and drops that regulate the flow until the water reaches the 'ship' with its climbing wall, slide and the giant wooden eagle whose wings shade the characteristic rope swings. There's also an exciting zip line and, for those who simply want to relax and take in the view, large comfy hammocks in the middle of the meadow. The ideal way for families with children to spend the day.
The park can be reached in just a few minutes via the Peio Fonti-Tarlenta gondola lift or on foot with a pleasant 1-hour walk starting from Peio Paese in the San Rocco area. Just a short distance from the playground is the Rifugio Scoiattolo, a refreshment hut with bar, restaurant and a panoramic terrace overlooking Val di Peio and the surrounding peaks.
In summer, during the gondola lift running hours
No entry fee, the park is always open
