The free climbing is a sport of skill that is characterized by an important psychological component. It represents an extreme sport that tests your strength, stamina and concentration. Climbing can take place either on natural walls (cliffs) on artificial walls.
The rise is facilitated by some tools, such as harness, rope, nuts (metal blocks of various shapes and sizes, which are used as means of insurance and progression), friends (mechanical gear used provisional anchor or stop) and references (karabiners united by a tape that can hook their rope to a point of insurance).
Can be easily reached, routes with various difficulty levels from 3a to 6b grades, but an overall easy level suitable for beginners and childs.
The elevation rise is from 12 to 30 meters.
A 5 minute walk to the area called Regazzini, this wall has 40 routes of various levels of difficulty, from 5a to 7c grades (most between 6a and 7a).

A 20 minute walk from the Belvedere area, in Folgarida. The wall has 12 routes, whose levels of difficulty range from 4a and 6c (most routes are not very difficult).
All routes are spiked and perfectly maintained.
5 routes, 3 of which have two pitches, maximum height 37 m, difficulty level between 5a and 6b.
Located in the area called Stavel in Vermiglio. 7 routes with a length that varies from 6 to 13 m and a difficulty level ranging 3a to 6a.
Friction climbing suited for children and beginners.
40 routes, maximum height 120 m, difficulty level between 4b and 8a.
Located right at the arrival station of the Paradiso cablecar, coming from Passo Tonale. There are 10 routes of various levels of difficulty, ranging from 4a and 6b grades.
It's located in Val De la Mare at about 9 km from Cogolo village. Drive to the junction of Ponte Vecchio Alm and then walk about 15 min. At the present time the trails for climbing are about ten, from the 4a to the 6c level difficulty (some itineraries show a length till 4 rope pulls). Furthermore, 3 short itineraries of 15 minutes with a difficulty corresponding to a 6b - 6c.
Located in Val del Monte approximately 2 km from Peio Fonti, you can reach the Pradacci equipped area by car. This wall should be used only with suitable equipment and by experts in rope access techniques and manoeuvres. Equipped for stops and minimum 25 m doubles. Currently there are approximately 20 climbing routes with a difficulty level between 4a to 6b.
