Medium difficulty route that leads from Malga Stabli, close to the village of Ortisè, to Lago Rotondo.
Lago Rotondo is an alpine lake located at 2,427 m altitude in the Vegaia Tremenesca mountain group. To the west, it is closed by the slopes of Cima Valletta, to the north rises Cima Tremenesca, and to the south stands Monte Polinar. Its waters, though deep, are very clear and offer a suggestive view with a blue color.

From the SS42, follow the signs to the village of Ortisè, part of the Municipality of Mezzana.
From here, follow the signs to Malga Stabli (1,814 m), where you can park. Then follow the forest road, which is also SAT path 121B, passing through wide and green pastures to reach Malga Bronzolo at an altitude of 2,084 meters.
Leaving the malga behind, follow the SAT path 121A towards Passo Valletta until you meet SAT path 121. Ascend along high mountain pastures until the last steeper stretch that reaches Passo Valletta (2,694 m). From here, you can admire the northern area of the Brenta Dolomites including Cima Peller and Sasso Rosso, plus the Adamello Presanella Group, particularly the Croce della Pace and Cima Laste.
From the pass, you can already glimpse the lakes on the Val di Rabbi side. Going down, you first encounter Lago Alto and then Lago Rotondo (2,427 m). The return is planned along the same route as the outward journey.
Follow the SS42 and shortly before the village of Pellizzano, turn right at the junction towards the village of Ortisè. Then follow the junction at Pellizzano turning right towards Ortisè.
You can park a few meters from Malga Stabli. After passing the village of Ortisè, follow the paved road.
