The "Family" hotel Adamello***, almost completely renovated and expanded during the period 2003-‘10, is located 300 meters from the center of Passo del Tonale. The hotel has 42 rooms that are more spacious than average, renovated or built in recent years. ROOMS “ALPINA” Completely renovated in 2006, the 12 “ALPINA” rooms are all sun-facing and characterized by a linear, simple, yet functional decor made of cherry wood. The rooms are all equipped with a new private bathroom (with hairdryer and shower), satellite TV, safe, telephone, and a balcony with a view of the valley below. This type of room (as well as the others) is larger than legal standards: double rooms 15-18 sqm; "extra" double rooms for 2-3 people 17-24 sqm, and "family rooms" for 2-5 people 20-35 sqm. ROOMS “TIROLIA” Built in 2003, the 14 “TIROLIA” rooms are all sun-facing and differ from the “Alpina” rooms by their more refined light wood decor that recalls the tradition of South Tyrol and floral decorations on the walls. The rooms are all equipped with a new private bathroom (with hairdryer and shower), satellite TV, safe, telephone, and a balcony with a view of the valley below. This type of room is also larger than average: double rooms 15-18 sqm; "extra" double rooms for 2-3 people 17-24 sqm, and "family rooms" for 2-4 people 20-30 sqm. ROOMS “DOLOMIA” The 16 “DOLOMIA” rooms—completely renovated in autumn 2010—are located on the highest floor and feature very refined decor made of spruce wood in the "old Tyrol" style. Entering your room, you will feel as if you are in a room from another time, due to the atmosphere that recalls an elegant mountain chalet, thanks to the combination of local stone and spruce wood. Every detail has been carefully designed to provide you with maximum comfort and relaxation. Our "Dolomia" rooms are very comfortable also due to their generous sizes: double rooms 15-18 sqm; "extra" double rooms for 2-3 people 17-24 sqm, and "family rooms" for 2-4 people 18-26 sqm; they are all equipped with a new private bathroom (with hairdryer and shower), 22” or 26” LCD satellite TV, safe, and telephone. Most are sun-facing and all have balconies with a panoramic view of the valley below (12 rooms) or overlooking the ski slopes and the village (6 rooms). ENVIRONMENT and SERVICES The family management, informal atmosphere, generous room sizes, and large common areas (notably the new 100 sqm playroom), make our hotel the ideal choice for family stays, even large ones. We are very proud of the new bar/reception area, with a “stube” corner in ancient Tyrolean style, entirely made of old wood, which offers a quiet and warm chalet-like atmosphere where you can relax while enjoying a drink or hot chocolate. In December 2008, we created a new playroom specifically equipped for children aged 3-10 years (soft play area, ball pit, free climbing wall, slides…). Our cuisine is based on the culinary tradition of Trentino Alto Adige, complemented by classic dishes from Italian cuisine; a discreet selection of local wines and from various Italian regions; breakfast and main meals are served in our dining room with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Adamello-Brenta massif. POSITION Hotel Adamello is situated 300 meters far from the centre of Passo Tonale and from the lifts; free ski bus stop opposite the hotel. SERVICES Our cuisine is based on local traditional dishes, accompanied with a selection of Italian and international courses.
