Have you ever crafted anything with your own hands? Have you tried feeling the veins in wood and shaping it into an object? During this incredible experience, you’ll handcraft a souvenir of your holiday in Val di Sole, which you can keep at home to use as you wish. It could be a tray for tidying away general bits and bobs, a pot holder or simply a decoration.

Wood is a living material, and you’ll get to know it first-hand using your senses. And if you’d like to learn more about the world of wood, you’ll be able to visit the museum dedicated to it later on.

WHO ARE WE

Fattore Legno is an educational exhibition trail focusing on wood from the Trentino forests, from the tree itself to the uses of its wood in handicrafts. The activity takes place in the carpenter’s workshop of the Baggia family, which has carried on the Val di Sole handicrafts tradition for generations.
