An immersive journey to decipher the secrets of history along old military mule tracks and border ridges. You'll discover how the retreating ice still reveals small fragments of soldiers' lives today.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

You'll be provided with a copy of the original 1918 map from the Italian Military Institute showing artillery positions. Your guide will provide a professional compass and binoculars to help you identify distant positions.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Trekking mainly on well-worn mountain paths. Level E (average skills). 700m descent and 100m ascent. The route is designed for those who love alpine walking without facing extreme height differences.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

In case of rain, the tour goes ahead. In case of bad weather, the activity is reduced and held at Forte Strino museum; details will be agreed upon.
