WHAT TO EXPECT/ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Would you like to experience the most beautiful spectacle nature has to offer in the Brenta Dolomites? There are three protagonists: the sun, the mountains and the excitement in store for you... All that remains is to climb to altitude with Roberto, your guide, and watch all the colours of the sunset. A tasty apericena with local produce awaits you at the Orso Bruno Refuge. You’ll return on foot with torches lighting the way.

INTERESTING FACTS/INFO

Enjoy an easy stroll to the Orso Bruno Refuge along the Sentiero dei Pastori (‘Shepherds’ Trail’), a route historically used by the shepherds when moving their cattle from their pastures to the alpine meadows. Along the way, you’ll find a biotope with a scenic spot affording panoramic views of the Ortles-Cevedale mountain range.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Activity suitable for everyone.
Not accessible for families with a pushchair.
You need to be reasonably fit. The maximum climb is 350 metres. The walk is along a path and forest track.

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

Wear walking shoes and carry a rainproof cape or K-Way with you, a warm pullover, water and a head torch.

WHERE

COMMEZZADURA - Mestriago Information Office
You can reach the meeting point in your own car. You’ll need your own transport to reach Malga Panciana. You’ll walk to the Orso Bruno Refuge from there.

If it rains, the activity will be cancelled.
