  • if you plan to reach a mountain hut or refuge, make sure they are open and, if you intend to stop to eat or sleep, call in advance to book;
  • before leaving, if you do not feel well, postpone the outing until you feel better;
  • never leave waste in the mountains;
  • if you spot wild animals along the route, please do not approach them, do not shout, and keep your dog on a leash to prevent it from instinctively chasing and frightening them.

Starting point

Peio Paese/Loc. Tarlenta

Directions

Starting from Peio Paese, take the forest road leading towards Malga Talé. Arriving at the Croce dei Bagni (usually without using snowshoes), continue uphill to the Masi di Marassina, from where the path starts that leads to Malga Talé.

The return is along the comfortable forest road, usually snow-covered, to Croce dei Bagni and then back to the settlement along the first section of the outbound route.

Public transportation

You can reach Peio Paese by the Trentino Trasporti bus line MALÈ - MEZZANA - FUCINE - COGOLO- PEIO (download the timetables for the outbound and return trips).

How to get there

Take the SS42 up to the junction for Val di Peio (on your right if coming from Malé). Turn and enter SP87 and continue for about ten kilometers to Peio Paese following the signs for the Fire Brigade Station; in front of it, you will find a large parking area.

Where to park

Parking is available at the bus stop in Peio paese, reachable from the road that on the right, at the height of a hairpin bend, runs past the bar and leads to a large parking area.
