ANTI COVID-19 RULES AND REGULATIONS:
The starting point is the car park in Cavallar (1,450 m asl), located up high on the edge of meadows of Piazzola and accessible by car. From here, follow the unmade track, first through a sunlit larch wood and then into a dense wood of fir trees, to Malga Samocleva (1,892 m asl). During the summer, you can reach the malga with the Stelviobus Rabbi shuttle bus.
Pick up the unmade track again until you come to the signpost for the SAT 108 trail, which rises up on the right-hand side of Lake Corvo valley. The route follows an evident ridge and the last part crosses it on high up to the Stella Alpina Lago Corvo mountain refuge (2,425 m asl).
The Corvo lakes are at different altitudes on the vast upper plain, and their waters are home to very interesting plants and animals. After observing the lakes, a circular route takes you back to the refuge. The return follows the same uphill route along SAT 108 trail, past Malga Caldesa Bassa (1,635 m asl) to the car park in Cavallar.
The Verona-Brennero line to Trento and from there take the local Trento-Malè-Mezzana line to Val di Sole, from where there is a bus connection to all the villages. For times visit www.valdisole.net/EN/Public-Transportation
