Moderate to difficult route that crosses high-altitude grassy pastures reaching Cimon de Bolentina and along the ridge, Piz de Montes.
Pleasant hike that along a forest road leads, with a constant slope, to the pastures of Plaza Marendaia and then to Malga di Bolentina Alta. From here, more demanding and easier sections alternate until you reach Cimon di Bolentina, from which you can admire the majestic Dolomites of Brenta, the peaks of Adamello - Presanella, and Maddalene. Continuing along the ridge, you reach Piz de Montes. The return is planned along the same outbound route. Alternatively, it is possible to close the loop by continuing along trail 119 to the junction with SAT 120, which is followed to the fork with the sign for Malga Bolentina. From here, you return to trail SAT 119.
