A route to be ridden all at once on the slopes of Monte Vigo, passing from the wild and lush Val Meledrio to the most photographed alpine lake in the valley, the charming Lago dei Caprioli.
This high-difficulty route first enters Val Meledrio, following a steep but rideable dirt road along the sparkling waters of the Meledrio Stream, then reaching Malghet Aut and ascending to the locality of Alpe Daolasa. From here, climb to the summit of Monte Vigo, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Brenta Dolomites mountain group and all the main mountain groups of Val di Sole. Get in the saddle and enjoy the spectacle!
To ride this route safely, it is necessary to use a Gravel bike with tires at least 38 mm wide. It is also important to be skilled at riding on rough terrain and to have good control of the brakes on descents.
As you can imagine, the route’s passability in a mountain environment is closely tied to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions.
