One of the historic slopes of Italian skiing is celebrating a prestigious milestone this winter: 60 years have passed since the first official descent. The starting point is Passo Paradiso at 2,585 meters, next to the cable car arrival, with the finish at an altitude of 1,850 meters. A breathtaking 3 km run with a vertical drop of over 700 meters, winding through the upper part among high cliffs (definitely a wow effect...!) .
📍 Local tip: The slope faces north, so make sure your edges are well tuned!
From the 3,000-meter altitude of the Pejo3000 cable car arrival to an altitude of 2,350 meters, covering a length of over 2 km: the slope, inaugurated in early January 2011, is entirely natural and follows the mountain's profile, partly retracing the path of the old descent, the site of an avalanche a few decades ago.
📍 Local tip: It's a descent NOT to be done all in one breath. A break will be absolutely necessary for your legs.
You may have never seen a wall like this: slopes almost reaching 70% in the initial stretch, where making a mistake won't be allowed (unless you want to descend the entire slope with your seat in the snow). Inaugurated during the 2015/16 winter season, the slope starts from the summit of Monte Vigo and runs through a chute, ending in the Malga Panciana plain.
📍 Local tip: Pay very close attention to the very first turns you make on the slope. Don't let the ice catch you by surprice!
To the west of Monte Serodine, the longest slope in the Skiarea begins: with its 4.5 km length, the Alpino will allow you to have fun throughout the descent. The width of the slope will enable you to try to carve the perfect turn, making the most of the characteristics of your skis and technical skills.
📍 Local tip: Breaks are necessary not only due to the length of the track but especially to enjoy the view of the Adamello Presanella peaks.
One of the most enjoyable and scenic slopes in the Marilleva area. At the same time, the Orti slope is less crowded, perhaps because most athletes are discouraged by the steep sections that offer no respite for skiers' legs. But, of course, that's not your case!
The slope is only 700 meters long but with a vertical drop of about 300 meters, featuring slopes up to 66%. Is the slope too short? No problem. You can continue for almost 2 km along the Nera slope, reaching Marilleva 1400.
📍 Local tip: The entire route goes right through the forest, with no escape routes, so be very careful as you descend.
